Trash Bin
Where deleted items wait, how long they stay, and what Restore puts back.
Anything you delete moves to the Trash Bin for 7 days, then is deleted permanently.
Deleting is never the end of it in TrackThat. A Card, a Collection, a Detail, a Record, a Reminder, a Tag, a photo, a file: all of them land here first, and all of them can come back.
Restoring something
Restore puts an item back where it came from, carrying everything it held. A Record returns to its Card. A Detail returns to every Card that had it, values and history included. A Tag returns to everything that was wearing it.
If the Collection a Card came from is in the Trash Bin too, the restored Card stands on its own, and putting the Collection back afterwards does not swallow it again.
Every row shows the day that item goes for good, so how long you have is never a guess.
Deleting for good
Delete forever skips the wait. Nothing on this device holds the item afterwards and Restore has nothing left to put back.
A backup you created while the item still existed does still hold it, so an old backup file is the last way back.
