Search

How search reads Detail names and Detail values together.

Search reads names and values together, so a Detail can be found by what it is called or by what it holds.

Type words, pick Tags, or both. Words and Tags narrow together: with both in play, a result has to answer both.

Show items matching any of the search terms widens as you add words. Only show items matching all of the search terms narrows. Any is the one to start with.

Reading the results

Everything you have kept comes back in one table: Collections, Cards, Records, Reminders, and the files you have added.

The picture at the start of each row says what kind of thing it is. A Card shows its own back, so you recognise it the way you do everywhere else; the others wear their own mark.

Added is the day the item was entered, and every row has one, which makes it the sort that never leaves anything floating. Date is the day the item is about: when a Record happened, when a Reminder is due. A Card has no date of its own, so that column is empty for one.

Clicking a row opens it. Selecting rows instead lets you add or remove Tags across everything you picked, whatever mix of kinds it is.
