Dashboard

The page TrackThat opens on, walked from the top down.

The Dashboard is an overview of what you have added to TrackThat. Everything here is safe to play with, and there is nothing you can break.

Any time you add, edit or delete something, we open a dialog for that change to happen in. Dialogs are where lasting changes to your data are made, and every one of them can be cancelled instead of saved.

The Greeting

The first line you see is us saying hello. You can turn it off in Settings, and if you would like us to greet you by name, there is a spot for that in Settings too.

Showcase

Under the Greeting is a place that shows the Cards and images you have added. There are different modes, and each mode has settings you can adjust.

Create a Card. Start a Collection.

A Card represents a single item you want to track: a horse, an old coin, a hot sauce you tried, a piece of equipment, a book in your personal library.

A Collection is how you group similar Cards together. Every Card in a Collection shares the same Details, the defining characteristics of each Card: each horse’s breed, each coin’s grade, the inspection date of each piece of equipment, whether you have read each book. You choose which Details you want to track.

Create a Card Dialog

A Card created from the Dashboard stands on its own. You can move it into a Collection whenever you like, from the Card’s own page.

Enter the name for your new Card. Every Card must have a name, and that name must include either a letter or a number.

Optionally, you can set a color from the presets:

Or you can set a custom color:

If you choose not to set a color and/or pattern, we will assign a random color and/or a random pattern.

Reminders

Next you will see a list of your upcoming Reminders, ordered by the soonest date, with overdue Reminders showing first.

You can view them in a grid or in a sortable table:

And you can set the timespan of Reminders you want to see:

Recent Activity

This is a list of what you have done in the app, newest first: the Cards you created, the Records you added, the Details you updated, and the media and files you saved.

You can view it in a grid or a sortable table, and you can set a timespan for how far back this section looks:
