What happens if I cancel

The honest answer, all in one place. No surprises.

Your subscription ended, or didn't renew. Here is exactly what that means for your data, your device, and your options from here.

Your data on our servers

When a subscription lapses, your account moves to read-only. You can still view every Collection, every Card, every Detail, and every photo. You can still create a backup and export. You just cannot add anything new until you renew.

If you chose cloud backup, we keep your encrypted backup for 90 days after the subscription ends. During that window we send three reminder emails: one at 30 days, one at 60 days, and one at 80 days. Each one tells you exactly how many days are left. After 90 days it is cleared. If you chose local-only, there is nothing of yours on our servers to clear.

Your data on your device

TrackThat is local-only, so your device does not hold a copy, it holds the thing itself. Everything you ever kept is there, readable, yours unconditionally. It does not expire and it does not need a subscription to read. Whatever is on your device stays on your device, full stop.

Renewing

Renew at any time and the app simply unlocks; your data never went anywhere. The 90-day window matters only if you also lost your device: inside it, a new device can load your cloud backup.

To renew, go to your account settings in the app. The link in the reminder emails goes there directly.

After the 90 days

Once your cloud copy is cleared there is nothing left to load from our side, but your device copy still works for viewing, backup, and export. Renew and the app unlocks; turn cloud backup on again and a fresh backup builds from what your device holds.

Export is always available

Whether your subscription is active, read-only, or long since lapsed, create backup and export are always there. A backup makes a dated file that can put everything back exactly as it was. An export makes a readable copy: browsable pages, spreadsheets (CSV), or both, including every original file you added. You are never locked out of your own data.

If you have questions, reply to any of the reminder emails or write to support@trackthat.app. We will get back to you.
